Write the question first

Choose a study and identify its research question. Write a sentence a reader outside the field can understand. Avoid leading with equipment names before establishing why the experiment matters.

Build three scenes

Use three scenes: the problem, what the researchers actually did, and what they found or left unresolved. Connect claims to sources and separate findings from your editorial interpretation.

Review before publishing

Read the script aloud and ask a specialist to review its scientific meaning. Check image and music permissions. Finally, ask whether the headline promises more than the story supports.
